Diaper Assault
Pennsylvania State Police said a woman wiped a dirty diaper on the window of another woman’s vehicle during a dispute in a traffic jam as both were leaving the Fayette County Fair. Hollis allegedly smeared the diaper on the rear window of a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Melanie Campbell. Police said the women began arguing while they were stuck in traffic leaving the fairgrounds in Dunbar Township.

Deputies said Green told them she has had trouble with her neighbors in the past and gave them a list of people she thinks may have been involved.
Officials Apologize After Shutting Down Lemonade Stand
A county official in Oregon has apologized after a 7-year-old’s lemonade stand was shut down by health inspectors. Multnomah County Chairman Jeff Cogen, the county’s top elected officials, said yesterday that running a lemonade stand is a “classic iconic American kid thing to do.” He says he called Julie Murphy’s mother, Maria, to apologize. Mom said she appreciated the apology. Mom helped her daughter set up the stand last week at a local arts fair in northeast Portland. They had to pack up and leave after being approached by two inspectors who said the stand didn’t have a license. Cogen says that while the inspectors were only doing their job, the rules are meant for professional food service operators.
Something Stinks At This Brewery
City Brewing Co. has temporarily halted production at its plant in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, after residents complained of a foul odor coming from the municipal sewage plant. Officials suspect sugary drinks now being produced at the brewery are causing wastewater treatment problems. Municipal authority manager Tom Gray says the stench started about two weeks ago. The Department of Environmental Protection received complaints, prompting it to send an inspector out before the brewery shut down Tuesday. Local and brewery officials were set to discuss the problem yesterday. The Latrobe plant used to brew Rolling Rock beer. Now, Iron City beer is among the beverages it produces.
