Born in Tallahassee, FL. Hate cold weather, therefore will hopefully die in Florida. Birthday is June 2; you don't need to know the year, but feel free to send gifts, food is always welcome. Have had nearly every job imaginable prior to coming to work for the KRO. First job at 12 was cleaning offices with a family member in the evenings, so sometimes I can't help myself when our wonderful cleaning ladies come I try to pitch in, they tell me to get lost.
Was a student of Precious (Mrs. Kingbird) and made folks beautiful for awhile (or tried to). Tended bar in Miami while going to school (that's where I picked up the hostility!). Bribed a man named Taft into giving me a job here after attending the American School of Broadcasting (thanks Vance!) and taught other wannabe broadcasters there (yet another one of those jobs I mentioned). Married an Aussie and have two awesome girls and three dogs. I enjoy the glamorous life radio has afforded me as I spend my weekends buried beneath a pile of laundry. And that's about it (Did I mention I love Gary Allan?) |
